Active Abundance is Active for the St. Thomas Community
Active Abundance gives back to the community in many ways.
Participants learn how to live a healthy active lifestyle by increasing physical activity and improving eating habits. This knowledge can then be passed on to friends, family, co-workers and future generations to enhance quality of life for the benefit of their community.
To encourage participation of low income families, fitness and nutrition programing is provided at reduced rates (compared to other services offered) and close to home.
Active Abundance participates in community based activities such as the 'Yes We Can' Christmas Food Drive Sculpture Building Contest with donations for Christmas Care in November 2012; the Canadian Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' in June 2013 & 2014; and the MyFM Project Poinsettia in December 2014.
Watch the schedule for upcoming events and visit our booth at local shows.
